REMETTE Innovative Design RT-Swordfish Knife ZL101A4

I purchased both the swordfish and sharp leopard! The swordfish arrived and the craftsmanship and attention to detail on it is impressive. The blade deployment is smooth and the edge is razor sharp.

The sharp leopard however, arrived and while the craftsmanship and milling is beautiful, the blade deployment and lockup is not amazing. There is a titanium bur on the top of the jaw that locks the blade out. This bur catches the blade and prevents the blade from locking out completely. The bur must have not been caught during quality control checking. I haven’t found a way to remove the bur without causing damage to the titanium jaw.

Outside of the lockup issue on the fast leopard, both knives are really eye catching and nice pieces to add to the pocket! Really premium products from Remette!

• Legality & Design: This is a purpose-built "legal OTF." It is not a double-edged sword, which is a huge help for legality. It provides the speed of a switchblade through a manual, gravity-fed slider.
• Fit & Finish: The machining is top-tier. The milling is great and the fit and finish are great across the entire titanium chassis. It feels like a high-end instrument rather than a budget folder.
• Ergonomics: It’s a substantial piece. It’s not incredibly thin, providing a solid grip for those of us with Medium/Large hands. The weight of the titanium and the depth of the milling give it a very secure, premium feel.
